Meet Maarten
Since 2013, Marteen has been going through the streets of Amsterdam eight hours a day, five days a week, photographing people he passes by. He captures moments of love, hate, humor, and everything. His debut work, "De Amsterdammers,” is about celebration, taking the best and most dynamic moments of individuals in the city, and is constructed to be a time capsule that documents Amsterdam as it is today for future generations to look back on

For Marteen, one of his favorite spots is the city center. He loves to wander around for hours with his camera and observe the tourists and the locals, encountering the endless parade of people and situations.
