Our story
Shanghai, 2017.
A few friends from different corners of the world, sitting in the same bar, wearing the wrong glasses. That's why we made our own.
We wanted frames that felt like the places we loved: not loud, not obvious, but unmistakably right. Frames that carry the warmth of a place you've been and the feeling of something that was always yours.
Each frame is named after a city or a district around the world. Not as decoration, but as coordinates.
The City Collection carries the spirit of golden eras like Shanghai in the '30s, Paris in the '50s, Los Angeles in the '70s. The District Collection belongs to the neighbourhoods where Citizens of the World live today: NoLo, Pigalle, Hackney, Marvila. Today we're based in Milan. But that's just where we keep the desk.

Citizens of the World - [Noun]
There's a reason certain cities become what they are.
Someone showed up: open-minded, free-spirited, restless in the right way and made the place more interesting.
That's a Citizen of the World. Not tourists collecting landmarks but travellers who sink into a place until it becomes part of them.
Citizens of the World have deeper roots than most, not despite the distance they've covered, but because of it.
Every city lived in, every conversation with a stranger, every wrong turn that led somewhere better, it all adds up.
You don't become a Citizen of the World by moving. You become one by paying attention to what's around you.
