St. Tropez in the '60s

Collection: St. Tropez in the '60s

Inspired by the “spirit” of St. Tropez in the ‘60s when the cult movie “And God Created Woman” generated the myth of “St Trop” and “BB”. It was a breakthrough role for the young Brigitte Bardot, who languidly posed on the white beaches of this peaceful fishing village, which was trans- formed overnight into an exclusive destination for the jet setters and artists attracted by the wind of freedom and revolution starting to blow across the gulf. Though now full of ostentatious money the beauty of St Tropez remains untouched; maybe because the village cultivates a unique way of life, “Art de vivre” as the French people say.
