Sara Herrlander is a Swedish visual artist, filmmaker, and documentary photographer based in Stockholm and Berlin. Her work focuses on portraying her surroundings in an intimate and naturalistic manner.

What began as a short stay in Berlin quickly turned into a home for Sara. The city’s free and inspiring atmosphere allowed her to fully embrace her creativity, exploring photography, modeling, acting, and even
organizing parties. Berlin became a space for self-discovery, where she stopped questioning her right to pursue photography and found queer expression as a powerful outlet. Looking back at her journey from Stockholm, Sara feels amazed at how much Berlin has shaped her into who she is today.
