Meet Gamo & Kitsa

Two artists from different generations, GAMO and KITSA share the same commitment to Marseille’s streets, transforming them into open-air galleries of identity and emotion. GAMO began painting, becoming one of the key figures of the city’s graffiti movement. His bold, colourful murals reflect the authenticity and rhythm of everyday life, influenced by his time in Brazil and the cultural exchanges that shaped his art. KITSA represents the next chapter: an urban artist who started painting in 2009 and brought a new sensibility to the scene through the AKA77 collective. Her work explores themes of femininity, freedom, and transformation, using colour as a form of language and resistance.

Gamo, Kitsa and Marseille

Together, they embody Marseille’s artistic soul, diverse, spontaneous and unfiltered. Their walls are not static images but living stories of the city’s evolution. In Le Panier or Belsunce, each mural becomes a reflection of Marseille’s multicultural energy, where tradition meets change and where art belongs to everyone. Through their work, Gamo and Kitsa remind us that to leave a mark here is not about ownership, but about dialogue between artists, neighbours, and the city itself.
